15 Bursaries available for Facilitator Training for the Environmental Practices Skills Programmes Level 2 & 5 to be held on 19 - 23 November 2012

Participants on the Environmental Practices Level 2 Skills Programme Pilot in Johannesburg learn about water quality testing as part of the Module 2: Understanding and Using Environmental Management Tools (5 credits). We have 15 bursaries for the Provider Capacity Training for Facilitators on 19 - 23 November at Umgeni Valley in Howick, KZN. Details below. 

 

Priority will be given to LGSETA accredited providers.

WESSA is adapting our Module 3 of the National Certificate: EETDP (Level 5) for this training and so course participants who succesfully complete the training will obtain a certificate worth 26 credits at NQF level 5.  More details on the EETDP can be found here.

The bursary is valued at R8000 and covers full costs of the course facilitation, materials, venue, meals and accommodation. Travel to and from the venue is to your own account. 

 

Note: you will need to attend the full 5 day contact tutorial from 19 - 23 November in Howick and will then have 2 months to complete an assignment, certification will take place by April 2013. 

Who should apply?

  • Priority will be given to LGSETA accredited training providers
  • yes The person who attends should be a facilitator who is or will be facilitating on the Environmental Practices Skills Programmes (note: the full set of Environmental Practice materials will be given to participants in digital form)
  • yes Persons who are already registered as Assessors with LGSETA for the Environmental Practices qualifications will recieve preference
  • yes Applicants must meet the entry requirements for NQF level 5 - i.e. must have matric and preference will be given to those who have additional environmental qualifications or experience.
